Elgin Public Library re-opens for growing options

Elgin Public Library re-opens for browing options

The Elgin Public Library is now open for patrons to browse and check-out materials during regular business hours.

In order to safely re-open the doors to the community, library visitors are asked to use the park-side foyer door upon entering and exiting.  Visitors are asked to use hand-sanitizer when entering, and all visitors are asked to wear a mask while in the building.  An adult must accompany children under the age of 12.

A 30-minute time limit to each visit will be enforced, however, those hoping to have more time utilizing the library’s free-wifi can contact library director, Lisa Leuck to schedule an appointment.  The library will have two computer stations open, this will help aid in social distancing.

The Elgin Public Library will also continue to offer their easy-pick-up service through the foyer for those still looking to borrow materials contact free.
