With three meets for the boys and two for the girls, it was a busy week for the West Central track and field teams.

It started off on a gorgeous Monday night, April 25, at Sumner-Fredericksburg that saw the Lady Blue Devils turn in a dozen personal records and five season-best times. It was the 4x100-meter relay, 4x200-meter relay, and the sprint medley relay that shone most brightly on the sunny evening. Each relay turned in a season-best time, placing sixth in 57.75 seconds, second in 2:02.03, and fifth in 2:07.39, respectively. It was Sadie Kuennen making up ground and passing teams on the final leg of the 4x200 that spurred the Blue Devils to their second-place finish.
