Rosella Ann Boleyn, 91, of Elgin, Iowa died Monday, December 27, 2021 at Gundersen Palmer Hospital, West Union, Iowa.

She was born on February 5, 1930 to Woodford and Elsie Mae (Harris) Craig in Grundy Center, Iowa. She attended Beaman High School, Beaman, Iowa.

Rosella was united in marriage with Robert Boleyn on April 17, 1949 at the First Baptist Church, Elgin, Iowa. Four children were born to this union, Cindy, Craig, Cary and Shelli. Rosella worked at
Palmer Hospital as a dietician/cook, she also worked at Iowa Turkey Products. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First Baptist Church, Elgin, Iowa. Rosella enjoyed reading books, playing cards, dancing and singing with family and at church. She also volunteered at the nursing home and her and Bob would put on a “once a year” fish fry.

Rosella is survived by her children, Cindy Buckendahl of West Union, Craig (Vicky) Boleyn of Elgin, Cary (Cathy) Boleyn of Elgin and Shelli Boleyn of West Union; six grandchildren, Mandy (Mike) Walker, Adam Boleyn, Jamey (Charity) Cowell, Blythe Cowell, Katie (Dustin Mittlestadt) Boleyn and Bradley Boleyn; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Rosella was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2017; her parents; a brother, Leroy “Bud” Craig and a sister, Donna (Blaine) Gilbert.

Services are being planned for a later date.
