Home tours featured at DeSales Magic of Christmas

Tickets are now on sale for the 2021 Magic of Christmas at the Silver Springs Golf and Country Club on Dec. 3 – 5. The home tours, a unique feature of The Magic of Christmas, are being decorated for the holiday season. The home tours are Saturday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 for the home tours. 

A raffle will be part of the weekend activities. Raffle items include holiday decorations, a Christmas canvas print, a holiday angel statue and many more items.  Tickets for a special raffle item, a handmade queen-size quilt designed and sewn by Margaret Elsbernd, will be on sale prior to and throughout the event.

The 2021 Magic of Christmas begins with the Opening Gala and Hors d'oeuvres Buffet being held at the Silver Springs Golf & Country Club in Ossian. The Gala will feature the first look at the dozens of trees, holiday collections and holiday tables decorated for the season.  An array of hors d'oeuvres on the buffet and wine tasting add a spirit of fun to the evening's gala. The Gala and buffet runs from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 3. Tickets are $10 for the Opening Gala and Hors d'oeuvres Buffet.

The 2021 Magic of Christmas runs on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. and on Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event features dozens of decorated trees, table settings and holiday collections on display. The ticket price of $10 allows people to also take part in the home tours as well.  A soup and salad bar lunch will be available on Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Silver Spring Golf Club from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Coffee & Rolls Among the Trees” will be happening on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Coffee, juice and homemade rolls will start the day off just right. 

Tickets for the 2021 Magic of Christmas are available at Blooms On Main, Fidelity Bank, Luana Savings Bank, at the Silver Springs Golf & Country Club during the three-day festival  and from selected St. Francis De Sales circle members.
