Marie Swale

Marie Aue Swale, 96, passed away January 3, 2021. 

She was born October 15, 1924 in Washington D.C. to the late Charles and Dorothy Aue. 

She came to Sarasota County in 2014 from West Union, Iowa. 

She had been a member of the United Methodist Church there and also the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. 

Marie had an amazing talent for drawing, loved to bowl setting numerous records and she had a love for auto racing.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Thomas Swale and his wife Stephanie of Sarasota; daughter, daughter-in-law, Janis Swale of West Union, Iowa; and grandson, Ryan Swale of Jesup, Iowa. 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Julius Jones; second husband, Robert Swale; son, David Swale; and daughter, Judith Jones Vint; and a granddaughter, Wendy Marie Swale.

Interment will be at a family cemetery in Iowa. 

A Celebration of her Life will be announced at a later date.
