North Fayette Valley to implement mask mandate

In a move to try to flatten the curve in a current upswing in COVID-19 cases in our area, North Fayette Valley has implemented a mask mandate beginning today, Wednesday, November 11.  

Starting today, students and staff will be required to wear a facemask when maintaining a six-feet distance from one another is not possible. 

“We believe these are steps we need to take to keep the people in our buildings safe,” said NFV superintendent Joe Griffith during Monday evening’s school board meeting.  Students that are unwilling to follow these guidelines will be required to access their education remotely, after proper communication with family.
