Clermont Community Club postpones BBQ in the park

In a statement released to the public, Clermont Community Club announced they would be postponing the annual BBQ in the Park event. 

“After seeing the Fayette County Health Advisory this afternoon, out of an abundance of caution we have decided to postpone our annual BBQ in the Park event,” a spokesperson said in the statement.  “We had safety protocols planned to minimize exposure, but given the recent rise in cases we do not want to risk spreading the virus if people are asymptomatic.” 

The statement went on to say that the club intends to monitor the situation going forward, in the hopes that the event can be rescheduled in the fall. 

“Stay safe,“ the statement continued. “We would love to be able to once again see a bunch of happy faces enjoying good food, games and music.”
