Linda (Martin) Lau

Linda Marie (Martin) Lau, 47, passed away February 16, 2020 at her home in Oelwein.

Linda was born on May 8,1972 in West Union, Iowa. She grew up in West Union where she attended North Fayette School and later Northeast Community College, where she received a degree in Accounting.

Linda married Jeff Lau in August 1998, they later divorced.

Linda loved spending time with family and friends. Her three grandchildren were the light of her life.

Linda is survived by her, daughter Angel Martin (Travis Davis) from Cedar Rapids, IA, her mother Thressa Connor of Maynard, IA, her father Adrian (Bernie) Martin of Hawkeye, IA, two brothers, Dan Michael of Spring, TX and Bud (Andrea) Leader of Graham, NC, one step sister Shiona Vatsa of Bijnor, India, three grandchildren, Alexis Davis, Jasmine Davis, and Damon Davis, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother David Pritchard, her stepfather Don Connor, her grandparents, and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life is tentatively set for 11:00 a.m., March 21, 2020 at First Presbyterian Church, Maynard, IA.
