SW VB loses to tough Ed-Co team

The South Winneshiek volleyball team saw its season come to an end Monday evening in the second round of the playoffs.

The Warriors were defeated by a strong Edgewood-Colesburg team, 3-0. The Vikings picked up wins of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-13 to advance in the Class 1A Region 6 bracket. Ed-Co will take on Tripoli for a shot at the Regional championship against either Wapsie Valley or West Central.
