The fourth annual Logan’s Hope 5K will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 15, in Decorah.

The annual event, put on by rural Waucoma’s Logan Manderfield and his family, aims to raise money for Duchenne muscular dystrophy research.

Last year, the event raised over $20,000 for the cause and the Manderfields, including father Don and mother Lyndsey, are hoping to surpass that mark.

The 5K run will be held at the Danan Lansing Building at the Winneshiek County fairgrounds in Decorah. Registration for the event will begin at 8 a.m. on the morning of the race. The registration fee is $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under.

For more information or with questions, please contact Lyndsey Manderfield at (319) 239-3169 or donlyn@netins.net
