Miss Clermont to be crowned May 20

The Clermont Community Club will crown the next Miss Clermont at 7 p.m. Monday, May 20, at Heritage Farm Park in Clermont. 

 Ryin Lehmann, 18-year-old daughter of Bruce and Sarah Lehmann, will be crowned 2019 Miss Clermont. 

A senior at North Fayette Valley High School, Lehmann has been involved in the Tigerhawk basketball, volleyball and track and field teams as well as a member of the NFV chorus and FFA.  She is a member of the National Honor Society.  

Outside of school, Lehmann attends St, Peters Catholic church and enjoys running, hiking, boating and swimming in her spare time. 

She plans to attend Wartburg College to pursue a degree in Biology while running track and field. 

Miss Clermont will represent her community at area events throughout the year, as well as in the 2019 Fayette County Fair Queen competition. The winner of the queen contest will then represent the county at the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest in early August.
