Regina M. Bergman, 92, of Allen, Texas, and formerly of Maynard, Iowa, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, 2018 at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Allen, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11 A.M. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein, Iowa with Father Ray Atwood officiating.

Interment: Long Grove Cemetery, Maynard.

Memorials may be directed in her name to the Maynard American Legion Auxiliary or Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Regina Marie Kisner was born Nov. 12, 1926 at Oelwein, the daughter of Peter Frank and Mabel Lucille (Hensch) Kisner.  

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1944. 

On Aug. 28, 1954, she was united in marriage to Robert Nugent Bergman at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein.  

Regina was a devoted homemaker and also helped Robert in the Maynard Locker.  

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Rosary Society and the Maynard American Legion Auxiliary.  

Regina enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved going to any event that they participated in, including school plays, sporting events, and special assemblies.  

Regina is survived by her three children, Robert (Janell) Bergman of Maynard, Beth (Russell) Buhrow of Allen, Texas, and Gary (Helen) Bergman of Sherman, Texas; nine grandchildren, Ben and Bailey Bergman of Maynard, David (Jess) Buhrow of McKinney, Texas, Daniel (Elyse) Buhrow of McKinney, Texas, Dylan Buhrow (Shannon Rockwell) of Lubbock, Texas, Ryan (Abbi) Bergman of Sherman, Texas,

Aaron (Becca) Bergman of Shreveport, La., JD (Sarah) Courrege of McKinney, Texas, and Natasha Courrege of Garland, Texas; eight great-grandchildren, Tristan Buhrow, Landon Bishop, Kinley Buhrow, Case Bergman, Noah Bergman, Aiden Butcher, Jonah Courrege and

Lynzee Courrege; two sisters, Beverly Dvorak of Cedar Rapids and Dorothy Lehmkuhl of DeWitt; two sisters-in-law, Marcheta Kisner of Rockford, Ill., and Lee Kisner of Hendersonville, N.C.; two brothers-in-law, Paul Egger of Cedar Rapids and Kenneth (Annabel) Bergman of Wheaton, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on April 30, 2017; a sister, Shirley Egger; four brothers, Dale Kisner, John Kisner, Lawrence Kisner and Floyd Kisner; three brothers-in-law, Richard Bartels, Bob Dvorak and Dick Lehmkuhl; and two sisters-in-law, Evelyn Kisner and Flora Mae Kisner.  50u50
