Bowlers at Columbus Tourney

Four members of the NFV bowling team competed in a different sort of tournament Saturday at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo.

In the Columbus Tournament has the top two male and female bowlers from 12 different schools roll three games apiece. The top eight bowlers then compete in a single-elimination bracket.

None of the four TigerHawks was able to make the final bracket, but Paige Woodson just missed, coming up a mere eight pins short.

Woodson rolled a 124-162- 145-431. Emily Guyer was the other NFV girl competing; she shot a 114-126-107-347.

Colin Gavin and Brian Roulson represented the NFV boys’ team. Roulson fired a 223-181-148-552. Gavin came in with a consistent 161-172-161- 494.
