North Fayette Valley softball made the most of a busy week, winning six of the seven games it played.

The TigerHawks started the week with a sweep of Turkey Valley, 3-1, in eight innings and 1-0 Monday, June 2, in Jackson Junction.

Thursday, NFV hosted Central/Elkader, sweeping the Warriors, 11-2 and 7-3.

Over the weekend, the TigerHawks hosted the annual North Fayette Valley Softball Tournament. In the tourney, they won both games Friday. First, they dispatched Oelwein, 10-0, then shut out Union (LPC), 4-0. Saturday, NFV lost to a veteran Waverly-Shell Rock squad, 8-1, and the final game against AGWSR was rained out.
