In two years Valley alum Levi Fink has gone from the Iowa Class 1A Co-Golfer of the Year to the junior college golf national champion.

Fink became the champion of the  National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) in its annual four-day tournament Tuesday through Friday, May 20-23, in Plymouth, Ind.

Before the tournament, Fink, a sophomore at North Iowa Area Community College (NIACC) in Mason city, stated, “As a realistic goal, I want to be in the top 25.”

By the end of the tournament, Fink became only the sixth Iowan since 1958 to win the NIACC national title!
