Skylar John Lyle Walter was welcomed into the world by his parents, Chesnee Franzen and Garrett Walker of West Union, at 10:22 p.m. Saturday, March 22, 2014.
Born at Palmer Lutheran Health Center, Skylar weighed 5 lbs. 3¾ oz. and measured 18 inches in length.
He is the couple’s first child.
Grandparents are Marty and Tina Jacobs of West Union, Clyde and Stacy Franzen of Dyersville, Curt Walter and Kim Walter, both of Rockford, Ill.
Area great-grandparents are Dave and Deb Neumann of Fayette, Hannah Franzen of Fort Atkinson and the late Eligius “Sam” Franzen.
