NFV boys open with a win

The North Fayette Valley boys’ golf team opened the season with a win on the road at Starmont, Tuesday, April 22. The home opener, a triangular, on Friday, April 25, at City’s Edge course saw the TigerHawks lose by two strokes to UIC foe Sumner-Fredericksburg, 178-180; MFL/MM was a distant third at 239. On Saturday, the boys were third in a five-team tournament in New Hampton.
