The West Central girls dropped a 45-18 conference basketball game Monday, Dec. 16, at Turkey Valley.

Once again, shooting woes and turnovers plagued the Devils. WC was 7-40 from the field and allowed the Trojans to steal 21 passes.

Jenni Hollinrake led the offense with eight points; Erin Lehs added five points.

The Devil guards were the leading rebounder as Anna Barry and Kaitlyn Ruff pulled down seven and five boards, respectively; Mary Scott and Hollinrake added four rebounds apiece.

Madee Grimm did not score but was responsible for eight points with her four assists.

Friday’s game at Elkader was postponed; a makeup date will be determined later.

West Central is off until the new year. It enters the break at 1-6 overall and 0-5 in the UIC.
