Mr. and Mrs. Josh Tolle

…united in marriage…

Heather Anderson of Hawkeye and Josh Tolle of Webster City exchanged vows in a 5 p.m. ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 7. The Honorable Judge James Birkenholtz officiated at the ceremony, which was held at Blank Park Zoo in Des Moines.

Parents of the couple are Mark and Joni Spies of Hawkeye and John and Deb Tolle of Webster City.

Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory corseted, drop-waist gown featuring floral and rhinestone embellishments and a ruffled organza skirt. She carried a bouquet of ivory Georgia roses and ivory hydrangeas with Tiffany blue accents.

The bride’s friend Lindsey Butters of Cedar Falls was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Liz McDonough of Beaverdale and Nicole Kuennen of Solon, friends of the bride; Taylor Spies, sister of the bride, of Cresco; and Katie Tolle, sister of the groom, of Webster City.

The attendants were attired in black knee-length dresses and pearls. Each carried long-stemmed ivory Georgia roses wrapped in blue ribbon.

Standing as best man for the groom was friend Trent Kirkpatrick of Des Moines. Groomsmen were Evan Mosier of Davenport, Justin Brinker and Justin Seiser, both of Des Moines, all friends of the groom; and Nick Schmitz, friend of the bride, of Des Moines.

Joe Woltzen and Paul Spies Jr. shared ushering duties.

Following the ceremony a reception and dance were held at Blank Park Zoo.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of North Fayette High School and a 2012 graduate of Iowa State University. She is employed by Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in Clive.

The groom graduated from Webster City High School in 2004 and from the University of Northern Iowa in 2009. He is employed by Nationwide Insurance in Des Moines.
