UIU - Coach’s Corner

UIU (1-1, 1-1) @ Northern State (1-1, 1-1)

“This is  a big game for us since we really need a victory,” stated UIU head coach Tom Shea.

The Wolves of Northern State own an impressive three-OT win over Wayne State, and took a highly regarded Sioux Falls team to the limit.

“They will present a real challenge,” stated Shea.

Like UIU, the NSU offense uses the spread and likes to throw. It has an All-NSIC QB to direct the attack; he is also the team’s leading rusher.

“They are very, very aggressive on offense,” noted Shea.

On defense, the Wolves use a base 3-4 but will blitz on every play.

“You know someone is coming; the only question is form where?” Shea explained

Game time in Aberdeen, S.D., will be 1 p.m.
