…golden anniversary…
Larry and Carolyn Werner will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, at Oelwein Community Plaza in Oelwein.
No invitations are being sent; all friends and relatives are welcome. The Werners request no gifts, please, just your presence.
Hosting the celebration will be the couple’s children, Scott (Chris) Werner and Lisa (Jeremy) Orth, and their two granddaughters.
Larry Werner and Carolyn Landas were married Sept. 1, 1963, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in West Union.
Larry is retired from Donaldson Co. Inc. and the Iowa National Guard. Carolyn has been a longtime beautician in Oelwein and in her home.
