NFV High School Activities Night

NFV High School Activities Night

The first North Fayette Valley (NFV) High School Activity Night is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 22, at the high school in West Union.  This is the first official event for the North Fayette Valley TigerHawks and will kick off the 2013-2014 activity season.

All NFV coaches and directors with programs that start in the fall will hold meetings on Thursday, Aug. 22, to share their expectations for your son or daughter in their programs, with the exception of the football coaches who have already held parent meetings.

All parents, including those with football players, are required to attend the meeting scheduled at 5:50 p.m. in the PAC for a general session focusing on a number of topics, including policies and procedures, and this year, information relative to scholarships and college participation. This meeting will be finished in time for parents to attend the 6:30 p.m. scrimmage and get to other meetings.

If your high school son or daughter plans to participate in an activity later in the year, you can attend the 5:50 p.m. meeting and save yourself having to attend that same meeting later. If your schedule does not permit you to attend these meetings, then you need to arrange a time during regular school hours to meet with athletic director Todd Wolverton or Ron Imoehl before your child is eligible to participate.

When you arrive, there will be a table with sign-in sheets. Make certain that you sign the sheet so that the district will have a record of your attendance. Additional information will also be available to be picked up at that time.

In addition, money-saving activity tickets will be on sale. The booster clubs have been invited to attend to provide further information.
