For the past 22 years Jan Grafenberg, Mary Olson, and Marci Klinkefus have worked together at Keystone AEA in West Union. They all share something in common because their three daughters are all going to get married this summer.

February means the beginning of The Union’s special “I Do” series featuring area couples sharing how they met, how they got engaged, and what their wedding plans are. Three of the specials will feature Megan Olson, Jaci Grafenberg, and Lindsay Klinkefus.

Megan is a graduate of Valley, and Jaci and Lindsay are North Fayette alumni. They chose June 15, July 13, and Aug. 10, respectively as their wedding dates.

Three moms, three daughters, three weddings, in three successive months. This summer will also be special for Jan and Marci, who will retire at the end of May with a combined 55 years at Keystone.

“It’s been fun being around Jan and Mary, especially this year because we have provided support for each other and have shared ideas as our girls plan their big day,” said Marci.

Megan will marry in Clermont, Jaci will say “I do” in Madison, Wis., and Lindsay will tie the knot in Coralville.

The three brides-to-be were all active in high school, went on to earn their college degrees, and found professional jobs before finding the loves of their lives.

Another Keystone employee, Mike Erickson, retired two years ago. He informed the three moms that his son is also getting married and, yes, you guessed correctly, he will marry in May.
