NF/Valley decision made!

"Now, the work really starts."

Words that North Fayette Superintendent Duane Will-hite shared with the school district's board of directors, staff members, and patrons after the school board unanimously approved a whole-grade sharing (WGS) agreement with Valley on Monday.

Before voting Monday night, Valley board member Eileen Schlawin offered her advice on the whole-grade sharing agreement with North Fayette, saying, "Students, parents, staff, administration, and the communities of both schools need to get involved to make this transition easier. And I mean everyone."

Following the discussion, the board approved the whole-grade sharing agree-ment with North Fayette, 4-1, beginning with the 2013-14 school year.
