A Family Dollar and Dollar Tree combination store is coming to downtown West Union.

Earl Moss of West Union, one of the partners in the Moss-family owned M-5 business, said the property they owned at 105 E. Main St., has been sold and that the plans are for a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree store to locate there in the near future.

He said plans are to construct a 10,500 square foot building on the former North Fayette Middle School site. He said the three portable buildings that are located there now will be moved.

“They will take possession Dec. 1 and construction should start immediately, with sewer and water lines being put in,” Moss related.
