It’s a tradition unlike any other. For over 30 years, the Ghost Players of the Field of Dreams have been a part of the magic of the historic movie site in Dyersville and Clermont native Curtis “Jake” Mack has played a big role in the success.

“I was in college at Wartburg when the movie was filmed in 1988,” recalled Mack, a 1984 graduate of Valley High School. “After college, I played semi-pro ball in the area. A lot of the guys I’d play with and against were part of the Ghost Players and I eventually got involved.”
