“Winneshiek County Public Health and our health care partners are asking the community for your patience. There are no lists available to get on at our office or any of the medical clinics for the Covid-19 vaccine.”

That is the message that Winneshiek County Public Health Nurse Nancy Sacquitne issued this week following the approval of the Covid-19 vaccine by the FDA.

“Winneshiek County Public Health and other providers are tasked with following a prioritization schedule from the CDC and IDPH which currently only includes very front-line healthcare workers.  The vaccine will be distributed according to the schedule that is given to us,” she related.
