It was a spectacular day for Warrior cross country runners, coaches, and fans alike Saturday as both the Warrior girls and boys brought home hardware thanks to top-three team finishes in their respective Class 1A events.

“Both teams have a tremendous amount to be proud of this season,” said co-coach Kevin Kearney after the SW girls finished second and the boys third. “In a year with a great deal of uncertainty, our kids maintained focus and positive attitudes from last spring, through the summer, and throughout the season. Even when we had setbacks, injuries, and struggles, they stayed determined and positive.”
